Overview
If you check WordAbout Word, and the version number is less that 15.22.1, please use HelpCheck for Updates to update your copy of Word to the most recent edition. Andalus is an Arabic display font. Its design is a modern interpretation of Kairawani Kufic. This font is suitable for headlines, titles, posters, and any graphic design project where artistic flavor is desired.
- This font has shipped with Windows since Windows 3.1 (Arabic edition) as a TrueType font.
- Version 5.92 shipped with Windows 7, support for advance OpenType layout tables to improve marks positioning and other typographic enhancements were added.
- Version 5.99 shipped with Windows 8, we added traditional phrase-ligatures and support for end-of-Ayat mark to make Andalus more user-friendly to native Arabic language users.
